/ Public Safety Mission
As your Supervisor, I will fight to restore the rule of law and end the war against law enforcement by supporting a proven, results-driven approach to public safety. Working in lockstep with Sheriff Alex Villanueva’s 2026 agenda, we will return to proactive policing, end the political games that undermine public safety, and ensure that every neighborhood, from Malibu to San Fernando, has the resources and protection it deserves.
Our mission is clear: put victims first, hold criminals accountable, and protect our streets through visible, community-based law enforcement. This means fully staffing patrols, expanding specialized units to target violent crime and organized theft, and breaking through bureaucratic red tape that prevents deputies from doing their jobs.
We will dismantle the culture of political patronage in county leadership that puts insiders before public safety, and replace it with transparency, merit-based advancement, and community accountability. Public safety isn’t a talking point, it’s the foundation of a thriving Los Angeles County, and under my leadership, it will once again be our top priority.
/ Wildfire Public Safety Mission
In District 3, wildfire safety is public safety. As Supervisor, I will lead a coordinated, year-round wildfire prevention and emergency response strategy that puts residents’ lives and property above bureaucratic delays and political grandstanding. This means aggressive brush clearance enforcement, modernizing evacuation routes, and ensuring our first responders have the manpower, equipment, and real-time intelligence to act fast when seconds matter.
We will restore direct coordination between the Sheriff’s Department, Fire Department, and local governments to eliminate the communication failures that have cost lives in past disasters. I will fight for state and federal funding to harden our communities against wildfire threats from early detection technology to strategically placed strike teams.
Wildfires do not wait for committee meetings or budget debates. Neither will I.
